Nij's ability to communicate science is outstanding

Fabulous workshop that had all the children and parents (and even the staff!) joining in. I liked how it involved so many elements – story telling, puppetry, factual information about the Australian bush cockroach, singing, dancing and dressups, rhyming and illustrations. Enjoyed so much by one family that they went to the session down at Cannonvale library as well!

Very interesting, well presented, engaging workshop for children

Sandie was very prompt in her communications. She quickly organised for speakers when contacted and ensured contact between the author and school were made. It allowed the author visits to run very smoothly.

Gus was inspiring in his passion for stories and his encouragement to students that they can all create their own stories from their own lives. He was warm and friendly with staff and students and welcomed student's questions and input.

We were lucky to have Annaleise visit our school for Book Week. Her visit aligned with our Year 3/4 English unit of work where classes read her book Losing the Plot. Annaleise was professional to work with, approachable for preparation for the event and very organised on the day. She was flexible and adaptable to the needs of our school and classes. Leigh was incredibly well organised and extremely engaging for our entire school. He managed to run 3 sessions that were interactive and inspiring for all 900 of our students.

Zena created and presented two wonderful bespoke writing workshops for us, spread across two months, designed to inspire creativity and improve writing skills. I have attended several of Alison’s workshops, the most recent being the Cairns Tropical Writers’ Conference. Alison gave a presentation that was well researched, with informative slides and handouts that were understandable and not overloaded in detail. Lucia was one of the absolutely superlative presenters at our literature carnival this year. As a group, they expanded the students munitions of creativity and were very well received by all staff. Their presentations were highly engaging as they were diverse. Students had a full immersion into the world of the writer, storyteller and illustrator.
