Very interesting, well presented, engaging workshop for children
Zena offered the girls at Ascham a highly engaging and rewarding experience, her invaluable advice about the creative process inspired our students to write more and read more! Thanks again for visiting us.
Amy is a long-standing member of the Romance Writers’ of Australia and was our closing keynote speaker for our 2019 annual conference held in Melbourne. Our conference closing keynote address aims to provide our delegates with an uplifting experience that leaves them invigorated and eager to continue their writing journey. Amy proved to be a witty and engaging speaker, using personal antidotes to connect with her audience. I found her to be professional, punctual, open and honest in her dealing [...]
We were lucky to have Annaleise visit our school for Book Week. Her visit aligned with our Year 3/4 English unit of work where classes read her book Losing the Plot. Annaleise was professional to work with, approachable for preparation for the event and very organised on the day. She was flexible and adaptable to the needs of our school and classes. Annaleise tailored her highly engaging Grimms’ fairytales author talk to meet the needs of our unit of work. Following the presentation, students we [...]
Thank you for recommending Kyle for this year’s Literature Festival Day. It was a huge success and we have had wonderful feedback from students and teachers.
Thank you Matt for a wonderful author visit – your informative, engaging and entertaining presentation was a Book Week Highlight for our students. They will be looking forward to future Crazy Relief Teacher instalments.
We recently held a Literature & Arts Festival at St. Catherine's Catholic College, The Whitsundays for our Secondary students. All the authors that attended were entertaining, engaging and inspiring. I have had so much positive feedback from students, staff and library colleagues. The students have all been raving about how excellent the festival was, and they were disappointed at the thought of returning to classes for the rest of the week. I have had reluctant readers coming into the library t [...]
I just wanted to thank you on behalf of Ormiston College. Our guest visitors certainly enjoyed your presentation and as one person said on leaving “From now on I will be looking for his cartoon before I even read the front page.” Thank you again for being a part of our 25th Anniversary Literary Lunch.
All of his shows receive high praise from students and teachers – and in terms of social justice are essential. The students to whom he has presented for us do not receive opportunities such as these and Nij’s enthusiasm and commitment to the importance of his work as a scientist show through in his engaging sessions – as evidenced in the written surveys we collect from each student who attends them.
Juliette was brilliant. Funny, entertaining, professional. Such a treat to have her in our school and absolutely loved by everyone. Thank you so much for the opportunity to have her share her stories and laughter.
The delightful Jackie French visited us this morning. Jackie is a captivating speaker and her work is always well received. Is there is any chance that we can procure another booking for Jackie in 2013? We would love to have her visit us again!!!
Our Prep to Year 2 students thoroughly enjoyed Chris Collin’s presentation. He was extremely professional and enthused and inspired our students as well as our staff. All our students were engaged and loved being involved in the presentation. Chris was easily able to maintain the attention of his young audience. We really appreciated Chris’ level of organisation and the fact that he was self-sufficient with all his equipment and props as well. Thanks so much Chris!
Our students enjoyed Sheryl's Author-in-Residence with us. She did a great job appealing to such a range of ages and I appreciate the preparation she put in ahead of time. Her sessions also inspired the older grades who have not yet read Secrets of Eromanga to continue and use the text in their lessons. The students have even done some follow up research about the Elliot dinosaur.
