Andrea was a great speaker. She engaged her audiences, across multiple ages in each session. She was approachable, articulate and her content was appropriate for each group. On the lead up to the event, Andrea made contact and went out of her way to tailor her speeches to suit our themes and ethos. She was considerate and thoughtful. I would not hesitate to recommend her as a speaker.

Presenter was very engaging and charismatic. Children were inspired. Even children who hate art were enthusiastic to be involved. Story planning content was very beneficial to engage children in writing. Fantastic work! Excellent.

After Kathmandu announced the acquisition of Rip Curl, Tim did a magnificent job bringing “The Rip Curl Story” to life at our Kathmandu management conference. He was inspiring, full of humour and very knowledgeable sharing the essence of Rip Curl and its founders. The entire management team – around 70 team members – had a great evening listening to Tim. We are even more excited about partnering up with an iconic brand like Rip Curl after Tim’s presentation.’

Stephany Steggall is an eclectic researcher and author. I have personally recommended her as a potential Colin Roderick lecturer to the Foundation for Australian Literary studies at James Cook University. During the memorable year we worked together at an international school in Ethiopia, Stephany inspired her public speaking students to great success.

We recently held a Literature & Arts Festival at St. Catherine's Catholic College, The Whitsundays for our Secondary students. All the authors that attended were entertaining, engaging and inspiring. I have had so much positive feedback from students, staff and library colleagues. The students have all been raving about how excellent the festival was, and they were disappointed at the thought of returning to classes for the rest of the week. Engaging, exciting and educational! Shannon Horsfall’s visit to my Year 3 classroom was all of these and more. Presenting a reading of her new book “No Max” was a highlight the children will cherish. Shannon’s delightful nature and joy of sharing her work engaged even the most reluctant reader and writer as she drew them into her world of mayhem, mischievous characters and hilarious storylines. Each child came away from the visit with an understanding of how the stories “Was Not Me” and “No Max” [...]

I just wanted to thank you on behalf of Ormiston College. Our guest visitors certainly enjoyed your presentation and as one person said on leaving “From now on I will be looking for his cartoon before I even read the front page.” Thank you again for being a part of our 25th Anniversary Literary Lunch.

Our students enjoyed Sheryl's Author-in-Residence with us. She did a great job appealing to such a range of ages and I appreciate the preparation she put in ahead of time. Her sessions also inspired the older grades who have not yet read Secrets of Eromanga to continue and use the text in their lessons. The students have even done some follow up research about the Elliot dinosaur.

Rachel was engaging and energetic - our students loved her author talk. Her book readings had her audience captivated and definitely encouraged her books to fly off our shelves!

I was late to book an author and Speaker's Ink were fast and efficient in helping me find an author at such short notice. Their professionalism was much appreciated.
